22.05.2020. Vinkovci is actively implementing the projects of energy renovation of public buildings that will see investments exceeding 37 million kunas. The new thermally insulated façade, the roof and windows will soon be completed on the primary school “Antun Gustav Matoš”, which was today visited by Siniša Kukić, the director of the Fund, and the mayor of Vinkovci, Ivan Bosančić.
21.05.2020. At the moment, Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation Varaždinske Toplice is a big construction site, and it is expected that the hospital will soon reveal its new appearance. Energy renovation of five hospital wings is under way and it is worth HRK 42.2 million, of which HRK 21.5 m have been withdrawn from EU funds.
19.05.2020. At the press conference, President of the Government Andrej Plenković presented the measures adopted by the Government of the Republic of Croatia to help the citizens of the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County and Krapina-Zagorje County whose homes were damaged in the earthquake.
15.05.2020. Remediation of the former landfill Košambra is on schedule, with the completion expected at the end of July. The project is worth approx. HRK 12.1 million, of which HRK 10m have been provided from EU funds. Aleksandra Čilić from the Fund could see the progress made so far when she visited the location with the mayor of Poreč, Mr. Peršurić, and the director of the utility company Usluga Poreč, Milan Laković.
30.03.2020. Due to a strong earthquake that hit Zagreb on 22 March, unfortunately many buildings were devastated, especially in the old part of the town, and in the area of Markuševac. In order to facilitate easier and faster removal of the demolished parts, the Fund donated the required construction equipment to the Zagreb Fire Brigade.
20.03.2020. Due to the unprecedented circumstances caused by the pandemic of the coronavirus in Croatia and in the world, the Fund has undertaken measures to simplify and facilitate the performance of contractual obligations to our users.
18.03.2020. Articles of association have been signed today in Šibenik between the limited liability company Batižele d.o.o. founded by the Town of Šibenik, the Republic of Croatia, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, and the Croatian water management company Hrvatske vode, creating the basis for a capital injection in the company and future implementation of the project on the land owned by the former TEF.
11.03.2020. Director of the Fund Siniša Kukić and his co-workers held a working meeting with Davor Miličević, the mayor of the Town of Županja and other representatives of the Town.
05.03.2020. Today is the 22nd anniversary of the World Energy Efficiency Day. On this day in 1998, experts from around the world for the first time raised the issue of energy crisis; today, more than 2 decades later, we are faced with a far more complex problem of climate change.
21.02.2020. The citizens of Novigrad have a new recycling yard – Salvela, where the equipment for collecting 48 different types of waste has been installed. The total investment is worth HRK 2.3 million, of which almost HRK 2 million has been financed from the Cohesion Fund.
20.02.2020. Until the end of next year, Rijeka should get a modern sorting plant for separately collected waste. The contract for this project worth HRK 37 million was signed by Minister of Environment and Energy Tomislav Ćorić, Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund Siniša Kukić, and the mayor of Rijeka, Vojko Obersnel.
17.02.2020. Today, the representatives of the Fund participated in the working meeting in the City of Osijek, the topics of which included plans and activities related to waste management and energy efficiency in the sector of building management. The director of the Fund Siniša Kukić pointed out good cooperation with the Fund on different projects.
