Applications for co-financing the purchase condensing boilers resume

26.07.2021.

The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund continues with the programme for co-financing the purchase of condensing boilers. One novelty compared to the last year is that the incentive is available not only for the citizens of the City of Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje County and Zagreb County, but also for the citizens in Sisak-Moslavina and Karlovac Counties whose houses or apartments were damaged in the earthquakes.

Apart from the purchase of condensing boilers for individual dwelling units within family houses or apartment and office buildings, the Fund will co-finance the purchase and installation of condensing boiler systems for boiler rooms in apartment buildings or residential and office buildings. The public call is worth HRK 32 million in total, and it is open for natural persons – citizens owners or co-owners of apartments and family houses, and for building managers representing owners or co-owners of dwelling units in apartment buildings or residential and office buildings.

Grant funding is awarded in the amount of up to 80% of eligible costs. For the purchase of condensing boilers, the maximum of HRK 8000 per dwelling unit can be granted, while condensing boiler systems are financed with the maximum of HRK 4 500 per apartment/office space, i.e. the maximum of HRK 300,000 per one apartment building or residential and office building.

Citizens can apply to the public call via the e-Applications system (https://prijave.fzoeu.hr/) on the website of the Fund, by post or submit the application personally at the Fund’s registration office (Radnička cesta 80), while building managers can apply solely through the e-Applications system.

Submission of applications to the Public Call starts on 29 July 2021 at 9:00, and the call will be open until the end of the calendar year, or until the funds are depleted.

The Fund pointed out that last year’s procedure for the citizens whose homes were damaged in the quake was simplified to the greatest possible extent, and the purchase of around 5100 boilers was co-financed.
