Specific objective (6iii3) is focused on forests and forest land in protected areas and areas in the Natura 2000 network that are currently or have been until recently mine suspected or mine contaminated. It is expected that around 700 ha of forest and forest land within protected areas and areas in the Natura 2000 network will be demined and opened for public use.
Activities that can be financed under Specific objective (6iii3) include the protection and restoration of forests and forest land in protected and Natura 200 areas (including demining).
