Mapping of marine habitats and species under Specific objective (6iii1) will be carried out in order to collect as much data as possible on biodiversity related to the distribution of species and habitats listed in annexes to the Habitats Directive for sea waters under national jurisdiction.
A detailed map of marine habitats will be drawn up as a precondition for establishing and implementation of adequate monitoring and preservation measures.
Within this specific objective it is planned to set up the monitoring system for 400 habitats and species in order to ensure the monitoring and reporting on the status of preservation of species and habitats.
