Representatives of IB2 held a workshop on the implementation of contractual obligations for the projects co-financed from EU funds

02.06.2021.

Today, on the premises of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts in Zagreb, the representatives of the Fund hosted a workshop focusing on the procedures, deadlines, and obligations related to the implementation of the projects co-financed with ESIF grants under the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Cohesion”.
The aim of these workshops is to clarify any potential uncertainties that might arise during the project implementation. Intermediate Body level 2 is responsible for controlling the procurement, for financial and technical verification of the projects, and the procedures these practices entail were explained in detail in the workshop by Sanja Jelačić, Slavica Lulić, Nataša Dankić Sliepčević, and Maša Brezovac.

“We want to communicate proactively because it is in the best interest of all of us to really withdraw the contracted funding to the greatest extent possible, and to have the projects successfully completed,” said the representatives of the Fund. Participants in the workshop included the beneficiaries with whom EU funding grant agreements had been concluded.

Workshops will also be held in Split and Dubrovnik.
