22.03.2022.

The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund has sent out to the beneficiaries’ addresses 1,500 contracts for co-financing energy renovation of family houses worth HRK 102 million.

Siniša Kukić, the director of the Fund, pointed out that more than 3000 applications for co-financing had been processed, and some of the contracts were being drafted. “The analysis of the processing so far shows very high success rate of 87%. This programme is important in the context of achieving climate goals and increase in the prices of energy generating products we are faced with,” said Kukić. “The average amount of approved co-financing is around 68,000 kunas per project. If we continue with this dynamic, we’re expecting that co-financing around 5,700 projects,” he announced.

Most of the applicants requested co-financing for thermal insulation of the building envelope, roof reconstruction and window replacement, and some applicants are planning to install RES systems. The co-financing of RES systems is planned to continue in this year through separate public calls for legal and natural persons.
