Information and education workshop of the Fund in Solin

30.09.2021.

Today the Fund held an information and education workshop in Solin, where they explained in detail the terms and conditions and method of applying for co-financing for the energy renovation of family houses. The citizens of Solin showed great interest in this year’s Public Call, which was launched on the Fund’s official website on 15 September.

Compared to last year, this year the budget has been increased significantly to HRK 300 million, with the maximum grant per house, depending on the measures to be implemented, amounting up to HRK 204 thousand. In the workshop it was underscored once again that co-financing was available to the houses with all the necessary documentation, which have up to 3 dwelling units or up to 600 m2 of surface area, meeting one of the two conditions. Eligible applicants are natural persons owners or co-owners of the house with permanent residence registered at the address of the house in question no later than 14 September.

The Programme covers the financing of different energy renovation measures, based on which different terms and conditions of the call have to be met. In Split-Dalmatia County, the thermal insulation of the building envelope or a comprehensive energy renovation would be co-financed with up to 60% for the houses in the energy category C or lower. The funding is also available solely for the use of renewable energy sources, either for the heating systems or electricity generation. However, these funds are available only for the houses in this area falling in the energy category B or higher, the grant amounting to 40, 60 or 80%, depending on the location.

Interested citizens can apply for co-financing solely via the e-Applications system, with the submission of applications starting on 14 October at 9:00. Only then will the users be able to fill out the online application form and upload the necessary documents. The participants in the workshop had the opportunity to see how to navigate the application, and they were advised to create their user accounts before the date of submission. In case they could not submit an online application or were not skilled at using a computer, they could hire an anergy auditor or someone else to do it for them. The Fund will provide 500 kn for this service, and the amount will be paid together with other energy renovation costs, based on an invoice or service contract.

The list of the required documents has been further simplified this year. The documents such as the energy audit report and energy performance certificate are valid for several years and it is not necessary to have them made again, if the applicants already had them drawn up, provided there  were no additional construction works done on the house. Regarding other mandatory documents, the presenters pointed out that due to a change in market prices, it would be good to obtain a more recent quote from the contractor. The deadline for the construction works is 24 months, and after the works are completed, the beneficiaries will have to keep permanent residence at the same address for two years.
