Alenka Košiša Čičin-Šain, acting director of the Fund, participated today in the meeting of the Association of motor vehicles dealerships organised by the Croatian Chamber of Economy.“Coming from the institution that has invested more than 300 million kunas in clean transport in the past years, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent cooperation we’ve had so far. Only through the cooperation of the public and the private sector can we achieve the best results. This was well demonstrated in the last year’s call when car dealers were the key element. More than 260 dealerships handled the new financing model very well, and the result was financing approved for more than 1800 energy efficient vehicles,” said Košiša Čičin Šain.
Josip Zaher, trade advisor to CCE president, also expressed his satisfaction with cooperation and thanked the Fund for accepting certain suggestions from them aimed at designing a new model of applying to the public call.
The head of the Energy Efficiency Sector, Maja Rajčić, gave a presentation demonstrating a framework for the public call for car dealers, pointing out that the Fund were planning to start receiving the applications from the citizens and companies in late June. She added that the budget was increased to HRK 108.3 million compared to last year’s, while the incentives per vehicle category would remain unchanged.
