Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (EPEEF) has published a Public Call for the purchase of new vehicles powered by alternative fuels worth EUR 21.2 million.The aim of the call is to improve energy efficiency of road transport by reducing dependence on fossil fuels by increasing the number of alternative fuel vehicles (EVs or FCEVs) registered in the Republic of Croatia, which will directly contribute to the reduction of total CO2 emissions and other harmful gases.
Only natural persons - trades and legal entities in public and private ownership, except for associations, can apply; this call is not intended for natural persons-trades and legal entities that mainly engage in the service of passenger transport by vehicle with a driver on demand, road transport of goods, and/or rental and leasing of cars and light motor vehicles.
The funds are available for new vehicles running on alternative fuels, as follows:
- electric vehicle categories L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7,
- electric or hydrogen-powered vehicle categories M1, M2 and M3,
- electric or hydrogen-powered vehicle categories N1, N2, N3.
Login to the eFZOEU system is done by identifying with the credentials of the National Identification and Authentication System (NIAS) with a significant level of security. The applicant submits the application independently, or it can be submitted by a proxy on their behalf if a special power of attorney certified by a notary public is provided.
