Registration of beverage packaging in the DRS database
A producer of beverages covered by the DRS pursuant to the Ordinance on packaging and waste packaging, single-use plastic products and fishing gear containing plastic (OG 137/2023) is obliged to submit, no later than 14 days before placing the beverage on the market, to the Register of Producers with Extended Responsibility (RPPO) information on the manufacturer of the product packaged in packaging, the product, and beverage packaging.
After reporting the data to the RPPO, the beverage producer is obliged to submit a sample of the packaging unit together with a printed list of reported beverages from the RPPO to the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, Radnička cesta 80, Zagreb.
Access to the form will be provided only to authorised users, using the National Identification and Authentication System (NIAS) - (https://rppo.fzoeu.hr), requiring credentials of a minimum significant level of security.
