The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition and the Fund have published updated Information on the State of Waste Management, with an overview of current activities and projects related to the remediation of hot spots and locations contaminated with illegally dumped waste in Croatia.The document contains information on the progress of remediation at the locations of Košica, Kaštela Bay, Biljane Donje and Dugi Rat, as well as on the activities of removal of illegal waste in Gospić, Samobor, Poznanovac, Pazin, Benkovac and Lovinac. In addition to an overview of the activities carried out, the document also includes data on planned investments, research and further steps in the implementation of remediation projects.
Through these activities, the implementation of measures aimed at remediation and removal of waste at priority locations continues, with the coordination of the competent institutions and regular information provided to the public regarding the progress of implementation and planned further activities in the field of waste management.
