The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund has concluded contracts with authorised collectors of waste packaging, where these collection contracts are still in force pursuant to the provisions of the Sustainable Waste Management Act.
The contracts in question shall cease to be valid on the day of concluding the contract for the treatment of waste packaging from those materials for which the Fund still has a contractual relationship with collectors, because prior to concluding a contract for treatment activities, persons who obtain authorisations for treatment in accordance with the provision of Article 97(11) of the Waste Management Act will be subject to establishing their own collection network for collecting waste packaging across the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
