Explanation of amendments to the Public Call for co-financing energy renovation of houses damaged in earthquake

Having regard to a number of enquiries regarding the changes to the public call for the energy renovation of family houses damaged in the earthquake that was published yesterday in the Official Gazette, the Found points out that the material requirements of the call have not been changed. The amendments explain that to apply to this call houses do not have to be renovated and that repair of the damage caused by the earthquake and the energy renovation can be done simultaneously. The list of evidence the citizens can use to corroborate the damage from the earthquake on their houses has been extended in cooperation with the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets. The deadline for the submission has also been postponed to 9 November at 9:00.
 
Eligible applicants to the Fund’s call are owners and co-owners of houses that were damaged in the quake, that are located in the City of Zagreb, Sisak-Moslavina County, Krapina-Zagorje County, Zagreb County, and Karlovac County. Individual house can get up to 80% of co-financing, up to a maximum of 386 thousand kunas per project. Also, the additional 2000 kunas can be granted for using expert assistance for the application process itself.  The granted appropriations of the Fund will be paid to the beneficiaries after completing a comprehensive renovation that includes the repair of damage from the earthquake and the energy renovation of the building.
