Treatment of electrical and electronic equipment (hereinafter: EE waste) is the process of recovery or disposal of EE waste, as well as the procedure of its preparation before recovery or disposal.
Through its own collection network, the treatment operator is obliged to take from the collector the collected EE waste, free of charge and validating the accompanying documentation, and is obliged to collect and treat it in accordance with the List of types of EE waste and types of products per categories of EE waste under the Authorisation it obtained from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition.
Pursuant to the Waste management Act (OG 84/21, 142/23 - Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia) and the Authorization issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund has concluded the contract on the performance of treatment of EE waste by the R4 procedure in the territory of the Republic of Croatia with the following companies:
