Treatment

Waste treatment is the process of recovery or disposal and it includes the preparation before recovery or disposal, while waste recovery is any operation the main result of which is the use of waste for practical purposes where the waste replaces other materials that should otherwise be used for this purpose, or waste that is prepared to fulfil that purpose, in a facility or in a broader economic sense. 
There are 5 recovery operators in the Fund’s system. All collected packaging waste is materially recovered.

Treatment operators who have concluded a contract with the fund for the treatment of waste beverage packaging in the DRS are obliged to submit the following forms:

FORM AO5B (Treatment operator report on taken waste packaging)
FORM AO5S (Treatment operator report on taken glass waste packaging)
FORM AO7 (Report on recovered quantities of waste packaging)
